Food for thought

Yesterday was beautiful, well for me at least ;). All weekend I had been anticipating a surprised that my boyfriend told me was coming my way. I was trying to get it out of him the whole time but he didnt budge. Come monday morning while I was passed out Rod got up and started to get ready for work which I was bummed about because I was hoping he had it off. So I went back to sleep as normal and he proceeded to prep for work. After his shower he came into the room and told me to wakeup and that it was time for my surprise. He didnt have work after all and had planned a whole day for us! I was so excited. Not only did he plan a whole day for us he took me to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for my very first time. It was so interesting to me. I know your supposed to see these kinds of things when your a child however seeing it as an adult made me appreciate sea life that much more. Along with going to Monterey Bay, we were able to wander around a small little beach, eat along the Bay at a really delicious restaurant that had a beautiful view. We grabbed some cookies at Tollhouse and on our way home we spotted a Farmers Market that had locally grown,fresh CHEAP produce. I loaded up on some veggies & fruits all for under $15. To cap off our day we went and had dinner at our favorite cheap sake spot where we shared some very good conversation. Here are some cool pictures I was able to capture throughout our adventures.
